Welcome to Burmmy! These terms explain how you can use our app to order authentic Myanmar products delivered anywhere in Japan.
Burmmy is a mobile shopping app (iOS and Android) that connects Myanmar communities in Japan with authentic Myanmar food, snacks, spices, and daily goods. When you use Burmmy, you're agreeing to these terms. Our mission is simple: bring the taste of Myanmar to your doorstep in Japan. We handle everything from product sourcing to delivery via Yamato Transport.
To place orders, you'll need to create an account. You can sign up with your email, or quickly log in using Google or LINE. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately. You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) to use Burmmy.
Browse our catalog, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You'll need to add a shipping address in Japan before completing your order. Once you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation. We'll prepare your items and ship them via Yamato Transport within 3-7 business days. Order details, including status and tracking, are available in the app under your order history.
All product prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (¥) and are DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — import duties, customs clearance fees, and Japanese consumption tax are already included in the displayed price. There are no additional charges upon delivery. Prices may change without prior notice. Shipping is calculated based on the total weight of your order (per kg rate). The more you order, the better value per kg! Shipping rates are shown in the app before checkout. We ship nationwide in Japan via Yamato Transport. Delivery typically takes 1-3 days after shipment.
We currently accept Bank Transfer and MM Payment (Myanmar mobile payments). PayPay and credit card payments may be available in the future. For bank transfers, please complete payment within 7 days of placing your order. Upload your payment slip in the app during checkout. Orders without payment confirmation after the deadline may be cancelled. All payment information is handled securely. We never store your full bank account or card details on our servers.
Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns for food and perishable items. This is to ensure the safety and quality of all products we deliver. If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at our expense. You may cancel an order within 6 hours of placing it. After 6 hours, your order enters processing and cancellation is no longer possible.
Under the Consumer Contract Act of Japan (消費者契約法), your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms. If any provision of these terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws, the legal provision shall prevail.
Please use Burmmy for its intended purpose: ordering Myanmar products for personal use in Japan. Don't attempt to resell products commercially, abuse our service, create fake accounts, or engage in any fraudulent activity. Violation may result in account termination.
We work hard to ensure product quality and accurate descriptions, but we can't guarantee products will meet every expectation. Product images may vary slightly from actual items. Burmmy is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
We care about your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and notify you through the app if changes are significant. Continuing to use Burmmy after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be handled in Japanese courts.
